Deepika Padukone Likely To Be Called Again For Questioning; NCB Officials Claim Actress' Statement Was 'Evasive And Tutored' – Reports
Today, in the morning, Deepika Padukone appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau office for her alleged connection with drugs. Reportedly, the actress was grilled for more than five hours in the NCB office where she reportedly accepted to her 2017 drug chats with her manager Karishma Prakash. However, the latest input in Bollywood's drug cartel porbe suggests that she is likely to be called again for the second round of interrogation by NCB. According to the reports in Republic, top NCB sources have claimed that she has not been given a 'clean-chit' as her statement was 'evasive and tutored.' 
 
Before appearing for the NCB questioning, reportedly, Deepika held a late-night meeting with top lawyers in a five-star hotel in Mumbai on Friday. Her actor/husband Ranveer Singh was also said to be present at the meeting. Currently, NCB is verifying her statement that she has given to them at the office, however, it is said that confrontation in future can’t be ruled out. Hence, after verification, Deepika Padukone might be called again for questioning by NCB, as reported by Republic.
 
Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan who were also summoneed by NCB today have also left the NCB just some time back. Reportedly, Shraddha was grilled for more than five hours while Sara was questioned for 4 and half hours. In their statement, reportedly, both of them have denied consumption of drugs but both of them revealed that they saw Sushant Singh Rajput consuming drugs in his vanity van and during the shooting breaks.

Meanwhile, the new agency ANI’s Twitter handle shared a statement of Mutha Ashok Jain , deputy Director General regarding this drug nexus of Bollywood. The tweet read, “Statements of Karishma Prakash, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone & Shraddha Kapoor. Kshitij Prasad have been placed under arrested after questioning. No fresh summon has been issued today.
